Can I get a refund if I cancel my Japan Rail Pass Exchange Order?
Yes, a refund is possible provided the Exchange Order (voucher) is unused and returned to us within one year from the date of issue. However, please be aware of the following conditions and fees associated with the cancellation process:
- Cancellation Fee: A 20% handling fee of the purchase price will be deducted from the refund amount.
- Non-refundable Items: Please note that the original delivery/shipping fee and any credit card processing surcharges are strictly non-refundable.
- The Process: You must return the physical, unused Exchange Order to our office. The refund will be processed back to the original payment method once we have confirmed the voucher's validity.
Important Warning: Once you have exchanged your voucher for the actual Japan Rail Pass at a JR office in Japan, it becomes 100% non-refundable and non-changeable, regardless of train delays, weather conditions, or personal circumstances.
